Unfortunately the horror stories about the service department are true. These guys screwed me out of $5,000. I was on a road trip and broke down in Benton due to shifting issues on the highway. I brought my vehicle in to Weeks and they told me the transmission was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. Pretty surprising considering it’s a 2016 vehicle with less than 100k miles. Brett, We are sorry you feel that way. Here is the response from our Service Manager below. The transmission had a great deal of metal shavings in the pan. Several people witnessed the metal shavings therefore it was a mechanical. This dealership believes our diagnosis and subsequent repair was correct based on three facts: 1. the emergent issue was RPMs spiking and power reduced, in conjunction with a check engine light, 2. the code found in the system, P1790 fault immediately after shift, is a code which indicates mechanic... read more
