I left this appointment in tears. I came hoping for answers and instead felt dismissed and talked down to for most of the visit. Rather than listening to my concerns, the doctor spent much of the appointment explaining my own symptoms back to me and suggested that I simply needed to “get beefy” by strength training. While exercise certainly has benefits, reducing a complex medical history to that advice felt incredibly dismissive. I had recently lost my rheumatologist due to my insurance being cut off. So I had to go to him. He had already pretty much blew me off but I waited until six weeks for my follow up. He told me there wasn’t anything wrong with me and I could go back to my old doctor and have him toss some pills at me and see if any of that works. I don’t typically write reviews however, save yourself the trip when it comes to this doctor. (Mott). We waited over 6 plus weeks to get in for a second opinion for my child, on a diagnosis I wanted to confirm was the right one before starting any kind of treatment. We meet with the doctor in person, however, he had already formed an opinion before walking into the room. He didn’t seem to care why we were there, he barely even examined or talked my child or me. If you've ever suffered Bone Disease, spinal Arthritis or osteoarthritis with multiple Fractures, you want someone or anyone To Dear God help., for 2 years several Specialist and Multiple Hospital Stays, my Family Doctor Sent me to Doctor Mott, who knew what to do to at least help prevent future fractures,I have not Had a new Fracture in 2 years!!
