Dr. Matzke performed my laparoscopic cholecystectomy and did a wonderful job! From my initial visit after getting a referral for a gallstone, to scheduling the actual procedure, Dr. Matzke and his entire team took exceptional care of me by answering all of questions and going above and beyond to make me feel at ease. PreOp and surgery well done: caring, attentive, informative, 5! Postoperative friendly, less attentive than PreoOp, complained of nausea, but couldn't administer antinausea meds because of surgery. Vomited 5 times at home. Spent 5 hours in ER and 2 antinausea ivs. Picked up zoltan at Walgreens at 1:30am. No nausea since. Could've avoided ER visit if sent home with antinausea meds in the first place. Plus, put after hours contact info for Surgeon On Duty and Nurse On Duty. Great surgeon, made me feel relaxed, great personality
Love this guy, a great doctor all around! If you are having gut issues, with maybe required surgery, get ahold of him. He basically saved my life once after another dr failed too, and now I will always trust my life with his speciality type of doctoring when and if needed. 5 + + STARS !!
