The positive thing I can say is that the ambiance was incredible- it was beautiful, airy, modern, and spacious. It is incredible. I was blown away. The staff was incredibly friendly and pleasant; very good hospitality, I would say better than any restaurant I have been to in CT. UPDATE — A Completely Different Experience Following my original review, Greer Southern Table personally reached out, apologized, and invited us back. We accepted—and I’m very happy to say our second visit completely changed our impression. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and received a genuinely warm welcome from the owners, Greer and her husband, Alexander, and the entire staff. The team at Greer, especially Alex and Marco made me feel special from the moment we walked in with our group of 10 to celebrate my birthday. Alex surprised us with a private room for our party and we were greeted with a festive Happy Birthday runner and welcome sip of Greer's Bourbon Sweet Tea - tasty and fun way to get things started! Delicious! I don't know why I didnt try this place sooner! There were so many things I wanted to try! Will be back.
My girlfriend and I had a great lunch meeting there. The food was excellent. The atmosphere and service was fantastic. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who want a different experience.
