Big shout out to Greer CPW & team for their quick response to the hurricane. Despite power outages all over the upstate, CPW was able to get power back to some of S Buncombe the day following the storm. Good work!
They disconnected my service at my current house for an overdue bill that wasn’t even mine at a house I haven’t lived in for over a year. They assured me that paying the bill for the old account would restore service. It didn’t. They made a mistake. The service was disconnected for a past due amount that was a month old. I was laid off a couple months ago so I pleaded for mercy, financial assistance, a payment plan, and nothing. I had to shell out another $200 for the current account. Out of all the utility companies I have dealt with in the past, Greer CPW is easily the best. After Helene, they had power back for most people in greer within 1-2 days. They constantly updated the public on what was happening, and we couldn’t be happier being one of their customers.
We have been so fortunate to have CPW as our provider especially during the Historic Hurricane Helene! The worked extremely efficiently to restore power to their customers. Thank you all for your great work it does not go unnoticed!
