I disagree with the 2 negative reviews My mother is at Greenwood Gardens and has been for several years. Yes, the company was sold, and yes things were different. Different is not always bad. If you have ever been a part of a company that was sold, you know that it is very hard. You have employees that don't like new policies and they do things to sabatoge the new company, etc. Turnover is to be expected during a time like this. Greenwood Gardens Several years ago we placed my nother in Greenwood Gardens.It was owned by the Cara Vita corporation which was a small compary of about 4 facilities. It was a loving, caring community with good food. The activities director was a very qualified social director. She was well trained and enjoyed the residents.She left for a higher paying job when the company was still Cara Vita, and we were sorry to see her go, but she was replaced by a director who was so qualified and so creative that the residents were for... read more

Assisted Living The decision to move a loved one into an assisted living facility is never easy. We looked at quite a few places and after much deliberation and debate we moved our elderly relative in. This person is not the easiest to get along with and they have done an excellent job managing them. The facility is very nice, the food is fair and t he staff is friendly. They do not communicate enough to the family enough though.
