I recently had a death in the family, and the team at GCU was exceptionally supportive in dealing with everything necessary to handle the orderly transfer of funds, and ownership on accounts. They guided us in the options available and helped us to ensure things were done properly and in a timely fashion.
GCU is awesome! I am on my 2nd loan pmt. through them with automatic pmts. Never had a problem. Any info I needed...they were always very helpful. Love that bank
I have my current car loan through Greenwood and I've had nothing but trouble with them. There was a banking error or their part, that went unoticed for over three months. My orginial account info was factored incorrectly. When it was finally noticed on their end, I was informed I had to pay the back-due amount and I had to do so immediately. Worst Credit Union in RI – Greenwood Credit Union is the worst bank for customer service. I have an auto loan with them. I recently lost my job and am on unemployment. I have been with them for 3-4yrs. so they know they will get their money. I have had this issue with them before, but chose to overlook it this time the girl was so rude that I couldn't turn my head.
