Tried to get a rental reference from them for a person that had applied for an apartment with us. They would not give me one and even after the tenant signed a release with them still could not get one after four phone calls. The owner was beyond words and said if I did not like it I could go ---- myself. A real proffesional company.
DO NOT RENT HERE! Richard tells you at the beginning that he’s understanding and easy to work with. He has since been unprofessional and rude. Using vulgar language and hostile tone. Washer and dryers have been broken for 10 months now. They charge a 50 dollar fee every 5 days rent is late on top of a 25 dollar fee to pay over the phone. Worst Guy to rent from hands down. He is a total misogynist and god forbid you need something fixed because they simply wont do it, even when the owner assures you its been done. To top it all off the upstairs neighbors never stopped making noise, it sounded like they were dragging furniture all night long, along with yelling, banging, dogs barking, people stomping around, and more. Awful company to rent from. They would always ignore my maintenence requests and never leave me a voicemail when they would call (while I was at work). The first month I moved in they refused to come out and fix the wiring for my lighting in my bathroom. After I called a dozen times they tried to tell me they wouldn't come for the request because I listed my apartment number as 1 when I live in 1R however my lease says it is 1. So many other reasons to not rent with them, don't risk it.
This company recently bought the apartment building I was living in for the past four years. Since that time they have raised my rent $170, ignored calls to repair legacy issues in my unit, and tried to charge me imaginary late fees for rent paid on-time. They don't even bother to leave a message when I'm unable to answer the phone (because I'm at work). When I do call the office, they treat me like a second-class citizen, claim that they are not subject to RI's rental laws, and rudely hang up in the middle of a conversation... read more
