If you are depending on any amenities you see listed online, call them first to see if they are available. This is my main advice. We booked through the centralized Best Western booking system... they said that an adjoining rooms were available, and we saw that there was an indoor pool. I called them locally before we arrived and learned that the door to the only adjoining rooms was broken (seems like there was no ETA to fix this) and the indoor pool was out of service. DO NOT STAY HERE !! We booked three rooms. We got in late and went to our rooms. Only one of the two were clean. The other two were not. When we called down the lady at the front desk told us they were booked and no other rooms were available. One of the rooms still had the pile of dirty laundry on the floor and the beds were not made. The other room has dirty towels laying over the beds and beer in the fridge which is fine if it wasn’t a room for high school wrestlers. It is very important that if you have a large dog or a bully breed, you do not book with this hotel. Unfortunately, they do not have any pet policy posted. I booked through Expedia, and when I arrived, an older white woman with a rose tattoo on her neck at the front desk rudely refused to give me a room, even though I had already paid for it. Never again! We had two rooms for one night to get some medical treatment at Montrose Hospital. The rooms smelled, had graying stained towels, at least 20 huge stains on the carpet — it was so bad. Shockingly cringe worthy. I went home and washed absolutely everything. Yes, I knew this wasn’t gonna be fancy but as a Best Western expected it to at least be good enough for a quick in/out overnight. It’s not. Don’t trust the pics. Never ever again. 🧿🪬
