Just a big thank you to all the medial and support staff at the Greenslopes hospital. A couple of days ago I was there for a day procedure and I would like to put one person in the spotlight that lifted my spirits with her positiveness and happy spirit.  Yes it was Sister Barbara in the recovery rooms. It is so good to talk to someone that can lift your spirits after a medical procedure. It helps being offered some food after a period of fasting but she was of enormous comfort and help to me. I was left in my own urine for 3 hours after spinal surgery. I was told I was going to have a catheter but no that didn't happen. I was numb from the waist down and couldn't feel anything. Humiliating, embarrasing and completely stressed me out. I cannot believe that a hospital would treat a patient like that. If this had happened with a NDIS support worker, they would have been terminated for leaving a participant in that condition.
