My boyfriend and I lived in the Brooktondale barn property for 2 years. The property certainly has its quirks (it is, after all, a very old barn in a large field), but they're all things that are to be expected when you live a bit outside of town. I would definitely recommend Josh and his company to anyone looking for housing. I lived at one of their properties in Ithaca, NY until April 2020. And from my experience from the stay as well as from interacting with Josh has been excellent. He was very professional and responsive about everything. I could not have hoped for a better experience given some of the abnormal circumstances I was in during the time and the fact that Josh understood them and worked a way to help me out. Here is the deal about Josh Cope and Green Scope properties. I wish I could leave a zero star review. Below I’ve attached a real email Josh sent me before I moved into my unit and an image of the unit after my group left during the period when the subsequent group moved in. Josh is a slum lord plain and simple. The unit I was living in should be condemned. When the fire department responded to a smoke alarm they told me that the building was not up to code and unsafe. My husband and I lived in the beautiful barn property in Brooktondale. We absolutely loved it there. The community was awesome, and Josh was very responsive if we ever needed a handyman in the apartment. He was also incredibly understanding when we had to break our lease early (I was hired somewhere over an hour away, so we had to move). To this day, he is a great friend of ours!

Josh has always been an excellent land lord, my property has always been well kept and needed minimal maintenance.
