I cannot recommend you rent from this company. TL:DR Throughout my tenancy at Greenpointe, PTLA had no organizational skills, no properly trained maintenance team, and not enough staff. The apartment is in poor condition with fragile and cheap construction. BE CAREFUL using the wall heaters, ours were dirty and had spit flame&smoke, and when we brought up our concerns, maintenance only said "yeah they do that". I lived at Greenpointe Townhomes (the Greenpointe complex at the corner of 18th and Walnut) for five years, and I cannot recommend renting here. It was easily the worst apartment experience I've had. I rented a unit at Greenpointe from June 2021 - June 2026, and through that time the biggest issue was management and maintenance. Maintenance requests regularly sat for weeks or even months before anyone addressed them, despite repeated phone calls, office visits, and resubmitted work orders. I lived in Greenpointe (the one on the corner of 18th) for about 3 years. Unfortunately it was a less than great experience as things were constantly breaking, it took forever to have maintenance reports taken care of (they would often sit in the queue for so long that the system would automatically delete them and they would have to be resubmitted) due to a variety of reasons, and the management staff were extremely rude and unhelpful on numerous occasions (specifically the staff at Baker Apartments). I had a horrible experience with greenpoint! DO NOT MOVE HERE! During my time living there multiple things went out which is fine but it took 2-3 months to finally get maintenance out there. What I’m most upset about is upon move out we got charged for a new carpet which I don’t completely agree with but went along with. I brought in a money order and paid my portion along with leaving the keys. Since the students are coming back, I’m going to leave reviews just so everyone’s aware of how much of a shady company PTLA since they want to remove my reviews. Be warned and do not move here! Also, they really are desperate to delete/mute my comment! Update 8/6/24 On 8/6/24 we paid PTLA 5,118.12 in move-out fees. PTLA charged us for a new bathtub replacement, a bathroom door replacement, heavy clean, neglecting the unit, bathroom faucet replacement, blinds, drip pans, full carpet replacement, and heavy paint.
