I was pleasantly surprised. We were last there when it was Happy Joe's and we didn't have a good experience and never returned. At Green Firr, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and we will definitely return. One minor problem. The tiramasu dessert was lacking coffee or amaretto flavor.
Excellent food (fresh, organic, gluten free options) and delicious wine with great service by Caroline. I will come back for dinner here.
I highly recommend Greenfire Restaurant in Rockford, IL, if you're passing thru like we were. Excellent Breakfast. Have to stop by again and try their Woodfire pizza. Excellent service too!
Wait time is WAY too long. This is the unfortunate culture. I blame management.
The cupcakes are absolutely divine and heavenly! My mom and I attended a baby shower there and the service was great as well as the food.
Great ambiance, excellent food and best of all restaurant run by family that Hospitality is part of Family Tradition.
My only exprience here was brief. Dude at the door said I couldn't bring outside coffe in with me before I could even explain the cup was empty. Not a good first impression, so I walked right back out.
This is one of Rockford's finest. Shendet makes it all come together. Fantastic food but the experience starts at the door. Great atmosphere and if you drink martini's wait for Erin. She serves the best martinis in Rockford.
The pizza and the desserts were really good. We enjoyed every single bite. We really appreciated the gluten free options. That made lunch stress free for once. The service was perfect. Definitely going back.
