In terms of this eatery, I think for what they are trying to achieve this is a great place, but if you have a tree nut allergy it may not be the best place for your needs. The quality of food is not as tasty as I remembered. It is pricey, but that’s OK it’s organic and it is plant based SOS free and I appreciate that. What disturbs me is the disruption each time I visit. Being forced to hear the stories over and over again about how the restaurant began and all the services they provide. It’s just a bit much. I just wanna enjoy the limited time I have with my friends and family, over a expensive meal.
I was in town for one day and decided to spend the morning at the Reston Farmer’s Market. I came across GreenFare’s booth and had such a wonderful interaction with the owner. I bought a banana nut chocolate muffin which was both healthy and tasty! He even gifted me a strawberry rhubarb muffin which was so sweet! I highly recommend supporting this business
Fantastic food with enormous portions. Not a quick dining experience, which is fine given the quality. It’s so hard to find vegan food which isn’t greasy, highlights veggies, and fills you up. This is my go-to whenever in town! A delightful bonus to also find gluten free desserts made without cane sugar :)
