This place lives up to the hype! I wish the garlic bread was structured a little differently - I’d like the confit to be more done so the garlic falls apart, and there was too much oil to garlic. The tavern style pizza was delicious - it was crispy, the cheese was satisfyingly melted and pulled when I lifted a slice, and I liked the variety of ingredients available for toppings. I didn’t try any cocktails but I’d love to come back and do that.

Greenbush Bar is a must-visit if you’re in the area! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly from start to finish. We started with the clams and olives, which were both delicious and a great way to kick off the meal. For our pizza, we ordered the Alberici with Gorgonzola, bacon, and arugula, and it was outstanding. This was my very favorite food experience in Madison. In the basement of a non-descript building is the best pizza in Madison! The crunchy thin crust, the perfectly seasoned sauce, and fresh toppings - perfection! The atmosphere was dark and moody. The service is fantastic! Don't miss out on this unique experience!
