Great service in a cozy basement atmosphere. Amazing pizza had a thin crust and out of this world flavor. I think it’s one of the best in Madison
I lived in Chicago and apart from Vito's and Nick's, this was the best taverns style pizza. The toppings were so fresh and the sauce... Also, Dude made me the best expresso martini. Thanks Ashley for such great service.
Outstanding! It's apparently changed hands since I was last here. The pizza sauce seems different, less sweet, but still delicious. We took advantage of a half price bottle of wine and a salad as well. Looking forward to returning sooner than I did last time.
I snapped a photo at the table. An app I use found this place and counts the calories from my plate. The cake slice fit my low daily calorie limit and tasted good. The dark basement room is quiet and chill.
Cant say enough good things. Walked over from Meriter after the birth of my daughter. She was taken to the NICU and man was I goin through it. Ordered pizza for my wife and I along with a beer. A lovely waitress named Gwena, asked how I was doing and listened to me unload about my situation. She the graciously put a dessert in with our order, and wrote a lovely note to my wife on the box.
