We got here early because we hear that it fills up pretty quick, and they do not take reservations. I remembered to take pictures! Love that you go down in order to get in. We went there for the pizza, and it did not disappoint. Thin crust, tavern style, and outstanding. The bread/garlic bread was nothing to write home about, but I did appreciate the boat dish of olive oil and garlic, which is also pictured. I will absolutely be back. One of my favorite places to go in Madison.
Sometimes when you go to a place so highly recommended, it can’t disappoint because the expectations are so high. This was not the case, it was better than expected. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. And I’ve had them all over the country. The ambiance was amazing. Service was also amazing. Just a unique and wonderful place to visit, and come back, and come back again. 🍕🍷
