Recommendedgoing to eat there for Thanksgiving. Never been so going to try it.
we looked all over the tri-state area for a camp site and could not fund one. on a whim we called greenbo and they gave us the camp hosts phone number. thankfully he had one spot for the weekend and we jumped on it. we get to the camp grounds after dark, tired of being in the truck and ready to relax. Beautiful day at Greenbo State Park. Our fist time visiting. The morning was spent canoeing on the lake. The Marina staff were very helpful. Had lunch at the lodge. Our waitress Laura was friendly and took the time to make us feel welcomed, sharing info about the park and lodge. I had the new menu item Veggie Burger and my husband had the buffet. Food was hot and delicious! Looking forward to a return visit. Thanks for a great day!
Beautiful area. lodge rooms disappointing no microwave, or fridge. Bathrooms very small. The Restaurant was more than disappointing, way understaffed, the food was terrible. my steak was literally burnt black, partners catfish was fried way to long he couldn't even chew it. other food was cold, buffet food looked old, not restocked either.. its a shame. Camped last weekend and had a GREAT time!!
Five stars to the staff at Greenbo resort. everyone went out of their way to provide us(over 70 people) with the best family reunion. Bonfires, traditional dancing in the lobby, personalized menus in the restaurant, and lots of TLC from everyone.... highly recommended....
We were very disappointed to drive 2 1/2 hours ONE way mainly to use the lake and find out that dogs aren’t allowed on the pontoon rentals!! In addition, there is NO Swimming in the lake??? Who’s ever heard of a state park not allowing swimming? Why aren’t both of these restrictions posted on your website? There were NO signs at the marina that states either of these restrictions either. We were informed by marina staff. Very disappointed and won’t be back.
