Absolutely great place to camp if you are a first timer or if you just like a place out to its self very great atmosphere camp ground staff was absolutely very helpful. But I only recommend it for a one night stay at best very limited on free things for the campers to do but all in all great place to camp very clean very well kept
Recently stayed a couple of nights in the campground for a family gathering. The sites are nice, plenty of room. Had a fire ring and picnic table. Water and electricity for our little pop-up. Bath houses were kept nice. Only issue we had was a couple of families that did not observe the "quite time" very well.
Went for Memorial Day weekend we really enjoyed will be back again

Great place for events. Stefanie does an amazing job. She thinks of great details to add for an event. She has your event as top priority, always working to make it the best. We have had our grade promotion ceremonies there many times. She's called and said would you like this or that and what do you think of this?! I was so pleased because usually you book a venue and you worry it will be double booked, much less expect them to have your event in their daily thoughts and how they can make it the best ever. I worked there for 7 years. Meet a lot of very fine people there and several cousins and relatives. Worked with a great bunch of people. Also meet and married my beautiful wife right there in the lodge back in 1985. One of the most relaxing places in Ky.
