Trails and lake were clean. Staff was helpful and very nice.
Went to the buffet yesterday around 5:15pm, had to wait an hour to be seated. Which would of been alright but the food was cold, corn muffins was hard as a rock even after soaking in the soup beans. We have decided we might give the restaurant one more chance. The staff waiting on the tables need more help so the customers can be seated sooner. We really do love coming here so please fix the problem....

This review is about the restruant only. We went to eat the buffet yesterday at prime dinner time 5:30pm. The food on the buffet looked like it had been out all day. The mushed potatoes were brown, stuffing was very mushy, corn muffins hard/burnt, only one dessert tray had anything in it, and etc. While we were there they never refreshed/ refilled empty food trays on the buffet. My husband and I stayed there 2 nights last week for a small getaway. We loved it! Everything was beautiful, the staff members were all really nice and the food in the lodge restaurant was AMAZING! I think my husband could've ate the buttermilk fried chicken for 3 meals each day lol We will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a memorable getaway!
