My wife and I prefer Green Tea over any other sushi in Asheville. Food is great, prices very reasonable, service is very good and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. I've learned many of my customers I sold homes to that are new to Asheville also consider Green Tea their favorite as well. The Asheville Roll is simply to die for! Also if you get a glass of Chardonnay they fill it almost to the rim. We recommend Green Tea to anyone who asks where the best sushi in Asheville is.

We usually try the one of the Sushi specials in addition to one of our favorites plus a seaweed salad. They are always outstanding in flavor and creative presentation. The staff are very friendly and eager to make sureyour dining experience is pleasurable which it has been throughout the years. The new addition is a wonderful place to enjoy outdoor dining. Best Japanese restaurant in Asheville thanks to Tony and his staff!

We sat at the bar and not one single chef, there was 3, even offered to say hello to us. I ordered salmon row and got salmon slices and our waiter got really pissed of when I told her. We enjoy a friendly chef and were deeply disappointed. We will be returning to tunnel road where they make you feel important and not like your at McDonald's. Be warned.

We eat here every chance we get. I love the California roll with shrimp sauce.

Been eating with Tony and the crew for well over a decade now and still can't get enough! Best sushi in Asheville and gives anywhere else (even as far as west coast) a licking! Keep up the great work!

Sat in new room ... still smells like new wood (in a good way). The bright light of the afternoon streaming through the windows was a real improvement over the darkness of the main restaurant. Attentive waitstaff ... as always sushi was great. My wife reported that the fried shrimp was pretty underwhelming ... tasted like quick thawed frozen shrimp with a crust that was not particularly appealing. Get the avocado salad! We've been here before and we'll be back.

First time to eat sushi since moving here and needless to say we weren't disappointed. We were skeptical at first, as my husband is half Japanese and lived in Japan growing up. Everything was fresh and beautifully displayed. My husband was very impressed with the squid salad. The tuna tataki was awesome! I especially loved the pork gyoza and the Asheville sushi was off the chart! We ate in the newer section, which was nice and bright. The staff were all professional and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

The food was amazing, and our server was top notch!! But the management was well below acceptable. Wanted to use a coupon from a well known company and was basically accused of "making it up". For $5 off (party of 5) we would have made up a much bigger coupon if we were going to do that!! Would have been fine not using coupon, but did not appreciate managers attitude at all. Do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.
