We just had lunch here yesterday and was very impressed! I have a BBQ catering company and competition team in downstate Illinois, so I love trying different places. Unfortunately, I am usually disappointed. Not at Green Street. We tried the brisket, hot link, pulled pork, macaroni salad and Frito pie. It was all very good. We preferred the spicy sauce over the sweet, but both were fine. Great food and great atmosphere!
This place was a good vibe , but the meats were way too salty.
i spend more time here than anywhere else. lots of room, amazing bbq, vinyl being spun, and the amazing frito pie! get it.
I have eaten at some of the best BBQ joints in the USA and this is one of the best. While enjoying Chicago, this is a must go if you enjoy BBQ. The Brisket is awesome. The pork ribs were amazing. And the pastrami was outstanding. You will not be disappointed
Best BBQ ever. Try the brisket, hot link and spicy pickles. Wash it down with a few Daisy Cutters and be happy
