I just finished my week at GS. Let me tell you, dont walk. RUN to the assessment and do it! Its life changing. Totally not what I thought was going to happen while I was there. But it was SO much better! This place makes sure you feel safe, secure, and never hungry 🤣 while you attend. You leave changed for the better! I couldnt have loved my time there more!
I think perhaps this isn't for everyone. They guide you to remember and recount every negative experience from childhood, but then just end the day, with no real closure. It was very overwhelming and left me feeling depleted. Its also worth knowing that they dont allow cell-phone access, even for emergency calls. Its not very accommodating of parents who need to be available to their children. Participating in this program was a necessity for me to break free from the bonds of trauma, loss, and moreso the grief I have carried since childhood. All of that had been driving my dysfunctional ways of relating to others. A foundation that truly cares about people more than money. I truly believe there will be a special place in heaven for everyone who works at this facility.
