They will try and scam and up-charge you. I clean fully replace my dryer vent every year, but need it reviewed by a certified contractor for my HOA. Was quoted for the review and the basic cleaning, both of which I was fine with. When the tech came out, he told me the vent was so dirty he had to do a deep clean, which was 3x the price.
