Our cabin getaway is situated beside a lake on 120 acres of woodland and haymeadows, in the heart of the beautiful Daniel Boone National Forest. Our completely isolated and secluded cabin, which we call "Beside Still Waters", is the only cabin on the property. Good place to go n relax n fish. But the pond area needs open areas to be able to get to the pond other than the porch to fish. U have to push thru the weeds if u want to fish. By then u are ate up by bugs. So I don’t fish around the pond. If they would open up spots around the pond to get closer to the water it would be a great place . I have been there 3 times n it’s very hard to get close to the water. It’s over grown with weeds. that’s why I gave them a 3.
Hidden away in the little valley between the hills, this cabin is perfect for anyone who want to immerse into the atmosphere of relaxation surrounded by the people (s)he cares about. The cabin is right on the lakes edge and you can jump into the water or fish right off the back porch! There is a sand beach to get out of water without getting all muddy and great and numerous sleeping accommodations that will easily fit 6 people.
