I had passed by Green Papaya so many times because of the thrift store a couple of places down, so today I finally had the chance to give it a try. I have to say the food was simply fantastic. The service was probably the BEST I've ever seen in any restaurant. Count on me being back there again in the near future.
I thought our social club meal at The Green Papaya went exceptionally well. I have to say I was very impressed with the wait staff today. They filled our drinks and did their job so well that I barely noticed them. It occurs to me that this would serve as a proper goal for waiting tables— take care of the guests so that they can focus on their friends rather than constantly stop to look for the waiter, or move so the waiter can pour the drink, or get interrupted by the waiter.
