Dear Green Eye Center, This is the only way I can reach you. Phone calls and emails, text messages dont seem to work.I am highly disappointed in this office, very poorly run. On my first visit , the receptionist told me what I needed to pay, and I wrote the check and handed to her. I have the copy of the check that shows Green Eye Center cashed it. February 2026 was my first visit to this center. I went in for Yag Capsulotomy OS. I have absolutely no problem with Dr. Matthew Hartman. He is great. My cataract surgery, which Dr, Hartman did at another location, went very well a few years back. When I came into the Green Eye Center, I had no idea what to expect regarding the procedure. I have never had it done. NO one explained anything to me. I had cataract surgery 2 years ago with Dr Greene! I called for an appointment and had to see Dr Couts! They put me through all the procedures for cataract surgery. Was tested in all the machines there. I finally said I’m here for follow up to find out why I have all these floaters after cataract surgery. They had no clue i had already had surgery . They said you were given the wrong appointment!! Not very happy to be there 2 hours no answer same problem!!! I won’t be going back there!
I asked for an appointment for an ophthalmologist because I was afraid my retina was detached. Following my appointment with Dr. Counts my receipt indicated he was an optometrist, someone who deals with diseases of the eye and prescriptions for eye glasses. I immediately made an appointment to see an ophthalmologist where I was evaluated and it was determined I needed laser surgery to repair my retina. I sent this information to Southeast/Greene Eye and never received a response.
