History Green Meadows Farm was started in 1964 in Waterford, Wisconsin by Bob and Coni Keyes. Thats the year they decided to convert their 80-acre hog and cattle business into a pick-your-own vegetables and raspberry farm. Used to be such a fun experience for the family...you'd pay one price, and enjoy the day there. Now, they're penny-pinchers. You have to pay separate to feed animals, separate to enjoy attractions. It's ridiculous. Very disappointed. But, the animals are still cute.
Nice place for the entire family. My toddler enjoyed yourself. Staff member working the train ride VERY RUDE she was more busy carrying on a personal conversation than assisting guest and giving proper times for departure. We opted out the train ride due to her attitude and misguided information. Aside from her making the customer experience horrible everything else was nice.
What a wonderful job they did with the Pumpkin Trail and festivities for Halloween!
We had a great time on our field trip! The kids loved the baby chicks, the train & hay rides and getting to pet all their favorite animals!
It felt like the tour was cut short. Didn’t last much more than an hour and wasn’t really explained what we could do after tour.
Had a great time guy Jon was very friendly and answered all our questions to the best of his knowledge
I highly recommend the trial of jack-o-lanterns event. My two year old is still talking about it days later. It’s defiantly fun for the entire family. Nothing is too spooky or scary for little kids. There is a haunted house at the end, but just judge your kids and see how they do. My two year old did okay, but he hid his eyes a few times. Noting traumatizing about it.
