I’ve been purchasing cars from dealerships in CT for over 30 years. This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a dealership. Travis, the sales rep was fantastic. He was quick to point out 1 very small minor issue with the vehicle I was interested in, and he made clear that the dealership would need to fix it before they could sell it to me. This was by far the worst dealership experience I’ve had in 8 months of car shopping and after visiting 15+ dealerships. I drove 3 hours to see a car that was misrepresented from the start. The interior reeked overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke, the right window had 10-12 inch crack, and the car was clearly not in condition to pass inspection or be sold as advertised. I thought I would have my 1999 Lexus LS400 forever. I bought it new, but it blew the timing belt and, after over 250k, ruined the engine, and I was stranded.
