2016 here!! the "greenie" is just an all around great place to hang. The food is very inexpensive! and it IS good! I'm a bit biased. Born across the border in Madison in 1954, I moved to McFarout! in 2000 and never looked back..
Very tasty, great price I love the fish on friday nights here, although my favorite is the clam strips, from the time I was little that is all I have ordered usually, because I love them. Green Lantern has a great atmosphere, almost like an old fishing town, with small town character and ambience.
awesome steakhouse It's great in winter too! The steaks are out of this world, I'd rather get a steak here than any of the steak chain restaurants. Great view of Lake Waubesa!
We've been here in the summer time mostly We like to stop in during the summer months, the food is great no matter what you order. The prices are good. Its very relaxing and we've always had a good experience.
The one thing I can say about the Greeny, is I never had a great meal there, but better yet, I've never had a bad meal there.They are rock steady year in and year out. Good Food & Good Prices.They also have the best Karaoke on Sat, nite in Dane County, so go eat,and sing your heart out.Great Time
User review by kadim – I ate here 05/27/06. Food is very bland, tried all you can eat country style ribs no wonder there all you can eat sauce was like strained tomatos. My other half tried the prime rib no flavor whatsoever without lots of salt and pepper. Would not eat here again.
