I’ve bought several items before and each time I left unappreciated and declared I’d never do business there again ; however we did just a day ago and again I was so taken by the lack of business etiquette from the owner: spoke rudely ; never offered help and frankly acted as though she could care less if we purchased or not. This is absolutely my favorite store anywhere between Mobile and Pensacola. I love the ambience of this store. It is calm and soothing, with complimentary coffee offered at the back of the space, very pleasant (not pushy) personnel and beautiful items everywhere you look, displayed with an artistic sense. The prices are reasonable. This store is truly an asset to Fairhope and to the Eastern Shore. I don’t visit Fairhope as often as I’d like but GGM was top of places I simply needed to revisit! I asked my husband to take the kids and my bestie and I were off for home bliss submersion! GGM merchandise does not disappoint! Within seconds I found everything I wanted to dress my Thanksgiving table in and a few other pretty items for my home. Time stood still! Green Gates Market has been a favorite shopping destination for many years. Their inventory is full of surprise, unique things that give a home a "punch" of excitement. I have purchased accessories and also large pieces of furniture that are special. Seasonal decorations are very unique and fun to celebrate the various holidays in the home decor. I just when into Green Gates Market with my daughter. We walked the entire store without being asked if we needed assistance. We did not even receive a smile or how are you? from the staff. We received a nose in the air...very snubby environment. My daughter bought some things...I chose not to due to the attitude. I am a professional in the medical field..I could have bought anything in that store and afforded it paying cash. We did not deserve that kind of reception.

We love Green Gates! After 2 years of having a bed we bought from there, it suddenly broke. Without hesitation, their team came all the way to our house and replaced the part and fixed it for free! They have amazing customer service!

I was very warmly greeted the moment I walked in the door and offered a cup of coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the store and bought a few items. I will be back next time we visit Fairhope!
