Well my wife Sonya and I were the first customers in the dining room tonight in Portsmouth. We shared an order of veggie dumplings with chili paste and ginger soy sauce.... perfect start. Joe had broccoli stir-fry with a breaded tofu fillet and jasmine brown rice. I had the citrus spare ribs and veggie stir-fry with jasmine brown rice. They were both so tasty and just the right size, filling but left just enough room for a French press coffee and we shared an order of fried banana with coconut ice cream. I had a great lunch at the Green Elephant after spending a morning at the Portland Museum of Art. The stir fry vegetables with tofu and brown rice was excellent, so fresh and flavorful. For dessert, I had the vegan chocolate mousse pie, which was incredible. Wish I were back there right now!

Outstanding food all around. I'm the only vegetarian in my family, and I thought I'd hear tons of complaining about eating somewhere like this. But instead, we were all eating off each other's plates (new experience for me!) and arguing over which dish was the best. Everything was really wonderful, as was the service. I'd eat here all the time if I lived in town. Go try it!
