Love this restaurant. Their fish and chips is great. My wife had their fried shrimp which was huge and delicious. Also had their derby salad which is a hot slaw. That was excellent. Not super expensive and great food. Also their halibut is killer.
As always, our food was excellent. I had the pasta bolgnese and my daughter had the pasta alfredo with grilled chicken. We both took home as much as we ate because the portions were very generous. My husband had the chicken livers and he said that they were delicious. My grandson had popcorn shrimp and fries and he loved his meal. We had potato skins as an appetizer and they were wonderful. Great service!
We were looking for a local place to eat and stumbled across the Green Derby. Our server, Skylar, was phenomenal, quick, efficient and helpful. I was impressed at how well she knew the menu and could answer my questions. We greatly enjoyed the frog legs, mock turtle soup (unusual, old school Kentucky goodness) fried chicken (some of the best I've ever eaten, huge portion, wonderful crusty crunch!) cod and fries, Mets with sauerkraut, massive baked potato.
