This place is GREAT!! Atmosphere, service, food, and drinks. We had the sliders appetizer, beer cheese soup, two entrées, and the bourbon pecan pie. Everything that touched our lips was delicious and our service was great. We will definitely be back and we will bring more people! Thankyou! P.s. I work in the restaurant industry and my standards are high. This place met all the marks for what I expected and what I've heard through word of mouth.
The food was delicious and the service very good. We'll be bringing friends with us when we return.

Enjoyed lunch there today. Smoked brisket sandwich on a nicely toasted buttered bun was very good. The only reason for not giving this a 5 star rating is the service. The serving staff is very friendly but seem to be a bit inexperienced when the place gets busy. Waited and waited for our change. Two people in the party of 5 sitting next to us promptly got their drinks. The other 3 were still waiting when we left. Perhaps having a seasoned server on staff to provide guidance would help. I was nervous with the mixed reviews but I had the pulled pork and half ribs. My food was hot and great. The mashed potatoes were awesome. The pulled pork was tender and amazing. The ribs could be a little more tender but other than that great food.
The first thing that hits you entering the establishment is the distinct smell of the smoker. This is true barbecue, slow cooked until it has a beautiful smoke ring and slight mesquite flavor. I had the brisket sandwich and it was tender and included some charred exterior of the brisket. Raise on Kansas City barbecue, I can say this is as close to real southern barbecue as I have found in this area. First time for my kids and I to eat here. Clean, waitress was friendly and the food was delicious!
My bf and I both got the pulled pork and brisket combo. Both were very good. The brisket melted in my mouth. The baked beans were very yummy.
