We put the decking on a dock and it cracked/split/buckled/ held water. We gapped the boards with their tool and everything. I would never recommend their product to anyone!! I wouldn’t even put this product on a hog pen. Don’t waste your money on the crappy plastic boards!!
RecommendedWe had some issues with our GeoDeck lifting and cracking. I reached out to Green Bay Decking LLC to see if they could help. Upon further investigation we determined the issue was NOT the material but in fact how the builder installed the deck. Green Bay worked with our builder to get new pieces sent out all the way from their warehouse to Virginia. We had our Geodeck installed the summer of2016. As of last summer,2018 our deck has buckled and split. It is now a safety hazard. After several emails with Green Bay Decking, they have decided it’s the installation that has caused this. There are 2 different install guidelines for the deck we had installed. No other composite comes close. It does not fade, is hard to stain, T&G boards have an invisible fastener system for free, will not mold or mildew, and stays noticeably cooler on bare feet in the summer. It's a winner!
