Beware of Exit Charges Beware of exit charges. I am very disappointed with the change in this practice. This practice used to be under Green Apple dental with Dr. Bird who is a kind and caring dentist. Since changing names and ownership, the current owner Dr. Firas Salhi now engages in charging fees to leave the practice. In our case $100 to obtain digital copies of x-rays we already paid for. Highly recommended. I am very happy with my experience with Green Apple Dental. I have had many visits to the dentist office but not like this office. I was also taken care of during a very painful tooth infection that they were able to take me in for a difficult last minute appointment, and I really appreciated that. I highly recommend that they would go the extra mile for a person to get them the relief they need.
Hands down best dentist in pdx Green Apple Dental makes me want to go to the dentist and my friends will tell you that is a big deal! What really caught my attention is that they do feel dental work every Christmas Eve to people in need. As a social worker, I really appreciate local businesses giving back to the community. 2 thumbs up As always my experience at Green Apple Dental was great. Dr Bird and Hygienist were excellent, I was pleased with the results and visit as a whole. I did appreciate Dr. Bird calling me after to check on how well I was doing after the visit, nice touch.
Very good Dentist. I recommend Dr. Kang for fillings and root canal. I was procrastinating and knew that I needed to go to have a filling done but did not have pain until one night I got a terrible headache from the tooth. I called in to get in immediately and almost went to the emergency room. The pain was so horrific that I didn't think straight. Fell in love with Facility and this is why... Went to Portland, OR to visit some friends for a wedding in 2008 and fell in love with this dental facility! This is why: First, the staff was very nice and the hot towel on my face reminded me more of a spa than a dental office! Second, how many times does the doctor actually give you a cleaning (usually done by a dental hygienist)? Don't go to green apple dental! Horrible, I would never go back & warn others not to go here. Tey are into making money & should spehnd more of their enery on their patients than on all the marketing they do all over portland. There is nothing really "Green about their practice". The x-rays they took were from a very old machine that I questioned the safety of, the tech gave me my shots!, and lastly, the dentist recommmended that he do the dental surgery nme instead of refering me to a specialist. But they mailed me a mug.
