Greater Ohio Mortgage is TERRIBLE!!!!! we were supposed to close, and days before our lender from Greater Ohio, JB Miller, went MIA. JB would not respond to our emails (that go to his blackberry), phone calls (employees would lie and say he was there when he really was) or faxes, and we were unable to close. We tried to set up another date to close, and then found out that the loan was not even in underwriting. Bad Company This company lies an lies BAD well first off we will pay your appraisal.. then we will close on monday well the appraisal guy calls an says this is whats holding the closing date up so i pay it sence JB Miller said he would pay it an never did then i go in to the office an they say the closing will be wed. Stay away from these Liars!! WARNING!! July of 2008 JB Miller ran a credit check for a refinance with cash out on our home and he said we were approved. We began the remodel believing we would close in 60 days. So we ordered the materials from a local lumber company and had 60 days to pay for these materials. Well needless to say it's May of 2009 and we now have a lien and a judgement was just filed last week against us because we still owe on the materials. Great Job!! If it wasn't for the guys at Greater Ohio Mortgage, we would have lost our house. We refinanced and were in trouble with our credit. JD Miller and Brian helped us get our credit restored enough to get our loan closed. We are very pleased with the process. It took a long time to finish with them, but after about 2 months, our loan was done!!

correcting an issue I just wanted to comment on the person who said J.B. Miller was fired from Mclendon Mortgage. By the way, the Mclendon's are J.B.'s family members and believe his leaving from there was due to family problems not because he is a bad buisness man.
Liars, crooks, shisters. We were working with a couple that were buying a lot from us. This deal started in June 2008. As of Jan 1, 2009, nothing has ever been done and no answers have been given, not even a phone call to tell us yes or no. We have been told from day 1 there was no problem getting them financed. Then all of sudden we were told we would be closing on a Friday in September and that Friday never seemed to come. They will not return phone calls and the others in the office will lie and say J.B Miller is not in t... read more
Shister Outfit! This company is bad! JB Miller, in particular, who is a liar and was fired from Mc Clendon Mortgage company in Zanesville for his shady dealings. He does not return phone calls, will paint any picture in you favor, and then completely ignores you. Please, check around and if at all possible, stay away from JB Miller @ Greater Ohio Mortgage Company in Zanesville, Ohio.
