Great event. Love all the food vendors. Gives us a chance to try new recipes.
My girlfriends and I really enjoyed yesterday. We made a lot of great purchases. I was disappointed that stroller-free Friday really wasn't stroller free. I specifically picked Friday for that reason.
I loved the vendors and the items. I did not enjoy that it was advertised as no stroller Friday and there were strollers which added to the congestion and made for a not as pleasant experience.
Had a great time yesterday, however, I took off work because it said stroller free day, but there were tons of strollers. I would have just went today and not took a day off work if I would have known that.
It was so crowded that you could not even shop today. I actually wonder if they were in violation of fire codes. I would not go back unless they open up the area and use more of the convention center or limit the number of people that can go in at one time
Been going for the past several years. It's a great experience. Fun for the whole family. Great food, lots to see and shop and taste.
We had a great time. There were so many booths and all with different and unique items. My favorite booths were: World Threads Boutique, Flaherty's Irish Candies, and Vintage Candle Company. The booths were all decorated so professionally. It was as if I was actually in their shop.
I see a lot of comments about strollers, I went today and only saw 2 strollers, I actually saw more people in wheelchairs and motorized scooters. Anything on wheels wasn't the problem, it was just to overcrowded for comfort. The duke energy center has several floors available that I would imagine would make the event more friendly if these spaces were actually used. I barely stopped at any booths because I simply couldn't. Over all the products there were fine, though items were nothing I couldn't find at a local craft fair.... read more
We had SO much FUN today!!! Lot's of Vendors, Lot's of unique items, lots of samples and food. It was SUPER crowded though. It would be awesome if they used the top floor also and spread it out. I agree that the strollers made it difficult to maneuver around BUT for those who could not find a sitter I am sure they did not want to carry around their kids while they shopped so I understand. Just giving more space next time would be great. But overall GREAT fun!!! :)
