I have bought and sold a number of coins thru Great Collections. I have been extremely happy with the coins I have bought and the dollar amounts I have received for coins sold. Their coin photos are great and the coins I have bought have not let me down. I have not returned one of them and I believe I have won over two dozen auctions. As far as customer service is concerned if I could give them a 6 star rating I would.

I had followed GC's increasingly impressive auction results over the years, and so decided to sell the balance of my coin collection through them several months. Initially, I was attracted by the commission structure for sellers - no fee on items above $1K and only nominal fees on items valued less. But what I didn't count on was the huge payout - nearly twice what I had figured even after some careful homework. They handled the CAC submissions flawlessly and I had my money in three weeks. Love GC.

So far I have used GreatCollections to buy, sell, swap, and just about everything else coin related I wanted to do. I have done several layaway's and they were always straightforward and easy to deal with. When I wanted to arrange the sale of some of my collectors coins to buy silver bullion Ian was able to sell the coins and arrange for me to get the silver I wanted at a fair price slightly below the going premium. I recently sold my coin collection through GreatCollections and I could not be happier. I was offered $10,250 from a local coin shop initially, and as I walked out, they increased their offer to $11,000. When I called GreatCollections, they were not trying to buy my coins for the lowest price. They recommended that we auction them, and provided us an initial estimate of $12,500-$15,000. I have been dealing with Great Collections for several years and my dealings with Ian and his staff have been the most positive experiences compared to the other auction houses. I think they are bad guys, stealing and switching coins before they send them to grading service. Should be investigated by District attorney office.

Absolutely Fantastic. You can get exceptionally good coins at good prices with only 10% buyers premium. The best is if you want a coin that is a really expensive one once you are totally established you can pay over 3 months. This allows you to go for coins you want made easier. Great Collections are a Godsend.

Great Collections is a top notch auction company. They have handled three large consignments from us. GC is very professional from start to finish. Our coins were up on their website and advertised in print quickly. We received top dollar and even broke a few auction records. We were pleasantly surprised on how fast we were paid.
