Specialties Located in the historic Hamm Building, we are the second oldest brewery in town. Our restaurant and bar are the perfect place to grab a beer or something to eat before or after any event at the Xcel Center or local theaters. And if you feel like sitting outside, our patio is open all year. Check it out during the Winter Carnival when the entire patio is made from ice. Food wasn't very good...but the service was even worse! Our waitress was pissy, rude and kept rolling her eyes at the patrons in her area, including our table.. My order was wrong and I was billed for items we did not have and that stuff happens, I get it, but don't give me your pissy attitude and snippy mouth when I NICELY point it out and ask to have it corrected and roll your eyes at my CHILD because she asked for a Dr. Pepper after you said Coke products only, sorry she doesn't know or care at her age who makes the soda ... read more
In from out of town looked for a place to eat for lunch the concierge recommended Great Waters. Great food I had the pork loin sandwitch its very tasty and their St. Peter pale ale which was fantastic. I would definitely reccomend for anyone who is looking for craft beer and great food!
Was treated with rudeness by the host Eric and chose not to stay and have a drink or eat. Will never go there again.
Traveling from out of state, refused to fill my growlers due to them not originally being purchased from Great Waters. Like I'm really going to keep buying and storing glass jugs from every craft brewer I stop at. Poor, won't try again and will recommend to all fellow craft brew fans to avoid this place.
Went to Great Waters last night before a show at the Xcel and this place was CRAZY busy! Regardless of this fact the staff, especially our server and the hostess were delightfully great! More than that our meal was fantastic. I would highly recommend the grilled pork tenderloin which was served with a portobello mushroom sauce paired with their own in house brewed St. Peter Pale Ale...Superb! and we still made it to the show with a few minutes to spare. Thanks for a great experience, we will be back.
Really enjoy their cask beers. We've been here twice now and haven't been disappointed. Dale has been our waiter both times, and is very patient with all of my questions, and knowledgeable with his answers. The Sunday specials before 2pm are awesome. Where else can you get a pint of in-house brewed beer for $2. Have the pork sandwich. It's got bacon jam.
