The facility on 249 North sucks. They filed 4 bankruptcy back in April or May. This facility had no 1running it & the security gates were left open. So when we went in April 2 pick up my fathers shed because he passed away. Someone had removed 1/2 of his property. No one had notified us of any bankruptcy or theft on the property at all. I have been trying 2 get onsite since then 2 remove my property from the shed. No one answers the phone & no one is ever on site 2 help me. So I would think twice before renting from Great Va... read more
If I could give this storage location a 0, I would. We rented here for a couple of years and this year in March of 2021, management did not let any of the customers know that the business & the units were broken in to. Customers valuables/belongings were laying all over the ground. The only way I know, is I went to check out my storage & saw the one next to us broken in to & the metal wall between my unit & the one next to me cut open as if someone was trying to see if anything was worth taking in mine.
Going to rent here
My mom had a storage unit here and ALL her stuff was stolen. The insurance company is disputing the date of the actual theft to get out of paying. This place gets broken into SO many times that they don’t even know the dates. They are claiming that ONLY break in was in March but they didn’t notify us until May. We know that there were multiple thefts from March to May. If anyone has information on the theft in May, please contact me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
