This was our first time experiencing Dawn Patrol together as a couple, and it was truly unforgettable. We were absolutely stunned by the sight of the hot air balloons lighting up the early morning sky. It was definitely cold, but 100% worth it. This marked the beginning of what we know will be a yearly tradition for us. We feel lucky to live in Reno and witness such a magical event right in our own backyard.
I had the pleasure of attending the Hot Air Balloon Race in Reno, and it was an unforgettable experience. The event is a must-see, especially since it's free to the public. We arrived around 3:33 AM and found plenty of free parking a little further down the street, but I recommend arriving early to secure a spot. A key tip for anyone planning to attend: the early morning temperatures can be quite cold, so be sure to bring blankets and pillows to stay comfortable while you wait.
