I'm really upset with dr. Z as he failed to bring me in to talk about my neck mri. I had to call several times for my results, a nurse calls me to read the findings leaving me with questions. I wasn't told how it looked. I anxiously waited for these results since I've been in pain close to a year. I call and make an appointment to come in and ask about other testing then he asks if I want to see my mri pic. He sits there and is like wow your going to need surgery. I like the doctor, but I was diagnosed with mild dementia, have some lesions on my brain and white matter, along with bad headaches every day. He said I needed a brain pet scan in Okc, I drove 2 hours and got there and said its not the right test that the insurance approved, it was for a full body pet scan not a brain pet scan which is what I was supposed to be getting. I went in to be possibly diagnosed with MS as I have the symptoms and a family history. I told the doctor my symptoms and that I suspected MS. I was told I’d be scheduled for some tests. I had one done. I went to get what I thought was a brain MRI in Yukon, a two hour drive one way, and was told I couldn’t be seen. So I went home and was scheduled again for Yukon.
