Great Outdoor Provision Co is a local treasure A wonderful local treasure! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the gear is top notch. The stores give back to numerous charities, particularly environmental charities, throughout the year. They are the perfect place to gear up for local trips to the NC mountains or beach - from books, maps and sandals, to packs and bags, GOPC is a great resource for outdoor gear.
"Rustic" Their atmosphere is that rustic-type feel, similar to a Mast General store, with hardwood floors and whatnot. They have a decent selection of gear, but are limited because they are not a huge store, and prices are definitely on the high side. Sell a lot of camping equip, Reef flipflops, Burts Bees, and have guides and maps to hiking trails and info about such trails around the CArolinas.
