About this business

Great New York Noodle Town is a bustling restaurant inChinatown serving salt-baked soft-shell crabs and other delectable Chinese dishes. You'll find that they're not too picky about presentation, placing the most emphasis on the taste of the food. You won't find any fancy decor here, but the food and value more than makes up for this. For those with late-night cravings, Great New York Noodle Town is open late to keep you happy. Make sure to bring cash, since they don't take credit cards.

I'm conflicted on whether or not I'd recommend this restaurant to others because the quality of the roast pig and roast duck are to my liking. But I think 90% of the time the customer service there is almost non-existent. only 2-3 occasions of the 10-15 times going there was I treated with proper customer service. ( btw I've been in customer service for 10+ years) I have to find a new place with the same quality of dishes I like because I really dislike rude service.

I have been going here since they opened in the 80's. This is always a must visit place for me everytime I'm in NYC since I moved to Tampa 6 years ago. I've been in a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants but nothing comes close to The Great New York Noodletown.

Garlic flower and chicken. Any of their noodle soups, with mai fun (angel hair rice noodle) haw fun, (wide rice noodle) or just mein ( regular wheat noodle), always have shrimp wonton in it and some kind of barbecue, roast pork, soy sauce chicken, steamed chicken or roast duck. And if your funds are tight just getting up BBQ over rice rice dish it's an excellent fill you up at a reasonable price. $ to $$.
