If you haven't used Paul Ambrose and his Great NM Rivers Guide Service and are looking for a great day of fishing. you need to contact them and make a reservation. Paul knows the Columbia, where the fish are, and what they are hitting on. Just spent a fantastic day of steelhead fishing with Paul Ambrose, and it was a blast. All 5 five of usl limited, despite hooking multiple native steelhead, which put up a crazy fight but had to be let go. Paul worked hard to make sure we got our limit. Had a great time fishing for Chinook with Paul and Amber. He is a real professional, understands the behavior if the fish and tailors the experience to maximize both fun, the likelihood of a catch while teaching clients about how to become better fishermen themselves. I have to say that despite 5 boats being close to us, our boat got by far the most action, not a coincidence...Would highly recommend and will be back myself.
