Great Lakes Yacht Club Kind of a fun place to go ... mostly senior citizens go there, but they still have a good time. The pool is great in the summer and there's an outside bar and usually burgers getting grilled on the patio. Can get expensive. We quit out membership when they started putting a minimum of what each member had to pay each month at the dining room. That was a bit too much, especially since we were already paying monthly dues.

Friendly, great people and easy to get to the lake for a sail
GLYC is a beautiful, clean and friendly club. Lots of sailboats, which can be difficult to find. Quick access to Lake St Clair. Lots of social interaction. We are thrilled to have found this outstanding club.
A very welcoming Yacht Club. My wife Patricia and I love the numerous social functions GLYC hosts. Truly a hidden jewel on Lake St Clair.
The people are always friendly.
Always so peaceful there.
