Terrible customer service. I got sent to collections for a bill I never saw originally and now am stuck. I traced back the service date and amount to my insurance, but the claim NEVER called out Great Lakes Pathologists, just Dr names. I had cancer and significant claims on my insurance as a result with no way to know what was separate from the hospital I was treated at. I called to ask and they just kept reading their script. I got a bill from Great Lakes Pathologists for a supposed visit and/or lab work done in Wisconsin. I live in Illinois and have NEVER received any medical care in Wisconsin. I called a month ago and the woman on the phone told me it was a processing error and that she would correct it and I'd only hear from them if it was a problem. I also called the medical provider I DO use just to double check, and they had no idea what this bill even is.
