Made an offer on a consignment rifle. Never heard back on if the offer was accepted or rejected a week later. Was told the owner would not come down in price, but worth asking. Went in a week later and found out the rifle owner accepted the same $$ offer I had made, from someone else? What gives? Very disappointed in the closing of the Madison store, and no announcement yet about a new store, as promised. If there is to be a new store in the Madison area, which would be a good idea with the loss of Gander Mtn, I would encourage new the acquisition of friendlier and more helpful staff. I had issues with a few at the Madison store.
