Normally don’t write bad reviews but I was informed 2 hours before my appointment that a hygienist was sick and we had to reschedule. No back up hygienist. Nothing offered within a week or two even. The soonest appointment given to me is a month from now on October 2nd after having waited a month after an initial consultation. If this is how new clients are treated I’d stay away. Too busy is never a good mentality.

Who are you ...Great Lakes Family Dental Group of Tecumseh? I don't know you anymore. Let me tell you all a story that goes back to the 1960s when I was a little boy....all the way to modern day 2024. My mom took me as a 5-year-old to the dental practice of Doctors Murray, Wolf, and Curtis DDS. A dental practice located on the northeast corner of Chicago Boulevard and Democratic Street at the time. They had a reputation of being the finest dental practice in Tecumseh and that is where I grew up having my teeth taken care of.... read more

My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Attar , Victoria, and the excellent and personable staff at Great Lakes! This experience has been truly positive due to the professionalism and understanding exhibited by Dr. Attar. He intently listens to your explanations regarding treatment and responds accordingly. His “bedside manner” is very reassuring and positive. Victoria is excellent and has the positivity and personality to make your visits so positive. Thank you to all the staff, my gratitude! 🥰

I’ve lived in a lot of different places…and been to a lot of different dentists in my 76 years ( some were exceptional, some were average, and a few were ‘iffy’). I grew up before fluoride was used and have the dental work to prove it! I have so many crowns that I joke that I should be considered royal. As a retired Nurse Practitioner, I know a good provider when I meet one. Dr Zain Attar is definitely top-notch. He recently completed a “textbook” crown for me. I am beyond pleased. Made appointments for cleaning and xray 30 minutes in and xray done then cleaning half done said need to reschedule to finish then charged me 130 dollars on top of Insurance. Ultimately dropped charge then went to next appointment and no schedule took a day off work for no reason and they want to charge my daughter 2x for a consult to remove her wisdom teeth all in all a very poor review i would have given no stars but won't allow id say negative stars
