Very nice receptionists, but both psychiatrists that work there are incredibly rude with patients, do not listen to patients and they cancelled my second visit appointment only one week prior to the appointment saying there were issues (yet wouldn’t explain to me exactly what) but that the psych no longer wants to see me as a patient and I have no idea why but I didn’t like this place or the Troy location from the get go because they do treat you like a guinea pig. There are very, very few adolescent psychiatrists around here, and even less who will take new patients. I had zero choice but to take my bipolar teen to Dr. Tahir. Once she threatened to report me to child protective services for requesting an increase in a dose of medication, and for not wanting to admit him to the hospital again (which is useless in this area. Much worse at the hospital than at home). She increased his meds anyway, which was what he needed, and he has done very well since. She never apologized, or discuss... read more
