First, the Taj Mahal beer is wonderful. They will listen to you, even if they seem to doubt you, when you order your food more spicey/hot than they might expect. The Chicken Tika Masala is simply the best, the Aloo Gobi is wonderfully “real”/home-like, and the Chicken Vindaloo is fantastic. The naan basket is worth the extra coin. The prices are just ridiculously low for the quality of food you get.

They're not lying with they said Great India. It is really great food. They used to have flyers with buy one get one free but now they changed owners and it's buy one get half off. As soon as you sit down they bring you free papadum with 4 sauces that are excellent. Great veggie dishes, dum aloo is very good. Very laid back restaurant and buffet is really good too. They have mango ice cream that really soothes your palat after a spicy meal. Highly recommended for some good Indian food in a very hospitable restaurant. Nice, n... read more

User review by amorg – I've staked out a lot of Indian restaurants in the Richmond, and this one's my favorite. Cheap prices (rice included in meal), excellent food (the naan is fresh and soft) and the service is friendly. They're careful to inquire about all your tastes: level of spicyness, side orders, glass with your beer? It's true, deliveries take awhile - but there are no pretenses; they tell you to expect your food in 45 minutes when you call in.

A restaurant that asks you to go fly a kite ... – I ordered at 9pm, waited until 11pm, and then got a call from a Mongolian driver whose English was impossible to understand that he was lost. I then called the restaurant, and the guy started yelling at me. He said, I am going to cancel your order, this is too much trouble for a 10$ order. GREAT! AT 11pm, after waiting for 2 hours, he has the guts to tell me that my order is too much trouble. I strongly recommend you NEVER order from this restaurant, although, in the Pacific ... read more

Great Food At Great India – Great India is a cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Krishna the waiter is so attentive and makes you feel right at home. The service is outstanding and the food is very good. I like the Prawn Masala and their rice is perfect. Complimentary papadum with four sauces and prices are extremely reasonable. They also have a very good buffet. The food and service is always consistent. Great service, great food...=Great India!

Editorial Review – Stop in for the expansive, all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, or order delivery. Traditional Indian menu ranges from curries to tandoori chicken.

Good food - reasonably priced. – I ate a LOT of Indian food in London and the chicken tikka masala at Great India tastes the closest to the food I had in the UK - which I happen to think was delicious. The food is very reasonably priced - the staff is friendly and quick. Parking can be a pain - as can the drive out to 25th...
